Watching Video Streams
Our streams are optimised for 3 different connection speeds, they all use less bandwidth than what they state, i.e. on a 512 connection, they will use the equivalent of 80% - so around 400kb per second. This means you can still get emails without things screwing up - but do make sure you aren't downloading anything. Also, at high demand times, the streams may be a little slower due to the amount if people on the site; this is rare though!
One more thing, if you are on Mozilla or Firefox and you get a white band on screen, you should use the scrollbar to jog the browser window to remove it. This is a problem from Microsoft which we have no control over - so now you know!
Viewing product information
All search results pages, or browse by category searched yield a list of search results. You can click on either the underlined movie name, or the movies cover images to go to the complete product information page. If you already know that you want to purchase an item you see in this results list, you can simply click the "Add to cart" button from here, instead of the one on the full movie information page.
"Add to cart" before buying goods.
Clicking any "Add to cart" link or "Add to cart" button will place the requested item temporarily in a shopping cart, which you can modify before you check-out and finalise a purchase.
When you click the relevant "Add to cart" link or button, we will automatically forward you to your shopping cart - so you can check what is in it, remove items with one click, modify the unit count if you want more than one item, or finish and checkout.
Modifying your shopping cart
When you have selected an item to go in to your shopping cart and have been forwarded to the "View Cart" page, you can choose to go directly back to you initial search results, by clicking the "Back" button - or go back to the homepage by clicking the "Back to store" button.
As a default, all items added to the shopping cart are 1 unit. On the review you cart page, you can modify this figure and click "Update" for it to be actioned, so that you can see the modifications to total prices etc.
If you want to remove an item, one click on the "Delete" button will remove the item, but leave you on the same page. Alternatively, you can change the amount to "0" and click the "Update" button to remove an item.
Using the "Checkout"
The checkout is run by our payment provider, Netbanx, and as such we have no control over what goes on there! Simply follow onscreen instructions and wait for your DVD's! |
